The Concord Coachmen Annual Show

Fall Music Festival

The Concord Coachmen Chorus will proudly present its Fall Music Festival on Sunday, October 19th at the Concord City Auditorium, a beloved venue that continues to serve as the heartbeat of the city’s cultural life. This festive afternoon promises an engaging program of Barbershop harmony, humor, and musical variety, featuring three acts that share a deep commitment to joyful performance and musical excellence.

The Coachmen, now in their seventh decade, will headline the event with their signature blend of Barbershop classics and contemporary arrangements. Known throughout New Hampshire for their rich harmonies and inviting stage presence, the Chorus brings together singers of all ages and backgrounds in pursuit of vocal artistry and community connection. Audiences can expect familiar tunes delivered with warmth and precision, along with a few surprises to keep things fresh and fun.

The evening’s first guest ensemble, the NH Ukeladies, brings a different kind of charm to the stage. As their press release declares, “The NH Ukeladies are about making music—regardless of ability.” Their membership spans a range of musical experiences, from enthusiastic beginners to professionals who’ve built careers in the arts.

Unified by their love of song and a spirit of inclusion, the Ukeladies delight in bringing smiles to every audience they meet. Their performances showcase ukulele stylings both lighthearted and heartfelt, blending pop standards with soulful harmonies and an infectious sense of joy. Whether covering a beloved classic or introducing something unexpected, the group invites everyone to experience the simple pleasure of
making music together.

Headlining the guest lineup is Catalyst, the Northeastern District quartet champions of the Barbershop Harmony Society. Based in New York’s Capital Region, Catalyst features Nate Finke (tenor), George Alden (lead), Dan Hoke (baritone), and Rit Carroll (bass).

According to their press release: Catalyst is a barbershop quartet composed of music educators and professionals hailing from New York's Capital Region. The members of Catalyst have a variety of vocal experiences within classical, jazz, and pop traditions. In addition to performing across the northeast, the quartet has provided educational workshops to high school chorus programs in the region. They are the Northeastern District quartet champions, and they have competed in the Barbershop Harmony Society's International Convention for the past two years.

Audiences in Concord will be treated to a finely crafted set from these rising stars of the Barbershop world, filled with tight harmonies, expressive phrasing, and compelling musical storytelling.

Additionally, The Capital Four quartet, comprised of members from the Concord Coachmen, will entertain the audience with some of their favorite tunes. Known for their harmonious blend and engaging stage presence, The Capital Four is sure to delight with their selection of Barbershop classics and contemporary hits. Their performance will be a testament to the enduring appeal of Barbershop music and the talent within
the Concord Coachmen Chorus.
